Sharp-eyed visitors will see I’ve added a new item atop my sidebar; a short linked list of recent infectious disease news reports pulled primarily from other blogs and the flu forums.
You’ll notice at the top of the list is a report by IronOrehopper at A Time’s Memory on the latest Egyptian Bird Flu Case (#121) announced earlier today.
Rather than simply repeat the latest news item uncovered by Arkanoid Legent, Crof, IronOreHopper, Dutchy or others at FluTrackers or the Flu Wiki, it makes more sense – if I have nothing of great value to add – to simply link to their coverage.
That way, I can avoid the distraction of trying to keep up with short`breaking news’, and concentrate on longer, more detailed blog posts which I far prefer doing.
And by following these links you may just find a new blog, or internet resource, to add to your daily rounds.
So when you visit this site, take a quick glance to the top of the sidebar to see what’s going on in the world of infectious diseases.
