The total number of the confirmed cases over the past 24 hours: 8 cases

Recovered and discharged cases that previously tested positive and are now negative: 6 cases

The total number of deaths: 5 cases (2 cases were recorded over the past 24 hours and other 3 cases were previously recorded, one of the cases )

Overview of the Health Status of the Cases:

Health situation of the cases in detail:

A. Riyadh:

  1. A 31-year-old woman developed respiratory symptoms on May 8, 2014. She was admitted to a government hospital on May 12, 2014. Her condition is stable.

  2. A 60-year-old woman. She was admitted to a government hospital on Apr 4, 2014. She developed respiratory symptoms on May 11, 2014. Now, she is in the ICU. May Allah grant her a speed recovery.

  3. A 74-year-old woman was admitted to a government hospital on Mar 21, 2014. She developed respiratory symptoms on May 11, 2014. Now, she is in the ICU. May Allah grant her a speed recovery.

  4. An 80-year-old woman, suffering from diabetes, high blood pressure, chronic heart disease, and chronic kidney disease. She was admitted to a private hospital on Apr 19, 2014. She displayed respiratory symptoms on May 1, 2014. She passed away on May 11, 2014. May Allah have mercy on her soul.

B. Jeddah:

  1. A 44-year-old woman developed respiratory symptoms on May 9, 2014. She was admitted to a private hospital on May 10, 2014. Now, her condition is stable. She has been in contact with a confirmed case.
  2. A 29-year-old man developed respiratory symptoms on Apr 18, 2014. He was admitted to a government hospital on Apr 23, 2014. Now, he is receiving IC treatment. May Allah grant him a speedy recovery. He has been in contact with a confirmed case.

C. AlMadinah:

  1. A 36-year-old man was admitted to a government hospital on May 5, 2014. He was discharged on May 7, 2014. He developed respiratory symptoms on May 8, 2015 and was readmitted to a government hospital. Now, he is receiving IC treatment. May Allah grant him a speedy recovery. He has been in contact with a confirmed case.
  2. 66-year-old man developed respiratory symptoms on May 1, 2014. He was admitted to a government hospital on the same day. His condition deteriorated and he received IC Care on May 3, 2014. He passed away on May 11, 2014. May Allah have mercy on his soul.

Deaths from previously reported cases:

  1. A 70-year-old man passed away on May 9, 2014.  He was previously recorded as a confirmed case in Jeddah. May Allah have mercy upon him.
  2. A 73-year-old woman passed away on May 11, 2014.  She was previously recorded as a confirmed case in Riyadh. May Allah have mercy upon her.
  3. An 82-year-old man passed away on May 11, 2014.  He was previously recorded as a confirmed case in Riyadh. May Allah have mercy upon him.

Recovered and discharged cases that previously tested positive and are now negative:

  1. A 23-year-old man was discharged from a public hospital in Jeddah on May 9, 2014.
  2. A 38-year-old woman was discharged from a government hospital in Jeddah on May 11, 2014.
  3. A 75-year-old woman was discharged from a private hospital in Jeddah on May 11, 2014.
  4. A 54-year-old man was discharged from a private hospital in Jeddah on May 11, 2014.
  5. A 29 year old woman was discharged from a government hospital in Jeddah on May 9, 2014.
  6. A 41 year old woman was discharged from a government hospital in Riyadh on May 9, 2014.
