Branswell: Two More Canadian Farms Infected With H5 Avian Virus

Via Canadian Press’s Helen Branswell’s Twitter feed, we get word that two more farms in the Fraser Valley have tested positive for the H5 virus, although the exact subtype of the virus has yet to be identified.

The Canadian Food Inspection Agency says two more farms have been placed under quarantine due to avian influenza in B.C.’s Fraser Valley, bringing the total to four.
