Guizhou Province Reports Their First (Apparently Imported) H7N9 Case

We’ve a Reuters report this morning, based on a Xinhua News story, indicating that Guizhou province has reported their first H7N9 case, that of a 38-year-old man from Zunyi city who died last week. 

 

While the Reuters report (see China reports second H7N9 bird flu death in a week) doesn’t mention it, the (admittedly syntax challenged machine translation) of the Xinhua news report suggests this is an imported case from Zhejiang province.

 

I expect we’ll get a much clearer idea of what transpired when Hong Kong’s CHP posts an update, but for now, here is the best of the Chinese language reports I’ve found so far.  (Note: I’ve selectively translated a couple of the underlined dodgy parts of the Google translation below)
