On Monday, in UCSF: Live Zika Webinar Today (10am PST), I wrote about a 5+ hour symposium on Zika that would be streamed live from the University of California San Francisco.
For those who were unable to attend, or watch live, the entire session has now been posted online for viewing.
Although some may find some of the topics tough sledding, the overall presentation is quite interesting and well worth watching.
Preparedness for the Zika Virus: A Public Health Emergency
UC San Francisco hosted a symposium about the preparedness for the Zika virus on Monday, March 7. The event brought together researchers from UCSF, UC Berkeley, UC Davis and Stanford University as well as public health officials.
Topics for the Zika symposium include epidemiology and prevention, basic science of the Zika virus, vector biology and control, clinical management, and policy. View the program.
