So far MERS reports in April have been more subdued than we saw in March, but we continue to see sporadic, widely scattered cases turn up across Saudi Arabia. Today it is Najran - very near the Yemen border - reporting a new case.
The patient is described as a 53 y.o. Saudi male already in critical condition.
We have no other information other than the probable source of infection - as was yesterday's case - is `under investigation'.
