The number of outbreaks of farm outbreaks of HPAI H5N8 has increased to 47, and one additional wild bird detection has been announced, in today's update from the French Ministry of Agriculture.

Once again Gers is seeing the most activity, contributing 3 of the 4 new outbreaks to today's report.  The fourth new poultry outbreak is from Hautes-Pyrénées.
