Saudi MOH Reports 2 New MERS Cases (1 Fatal)

 #12,073

Over the past week or 10 days we've seen some erratic posting on the Saudi MERS surveillance (CCC) website,  but today they are reporting 2 new cases, one posthumously.
The 70 y.o. male from Madinah reportedly had camel contact, while the (expired) 63 y.o. female from Buraidah is a `primary' case with no known exposure risk.

Given the lack of detail (particularly onset and diagnosis dates)  in these daily reports, it is impossible to know if the Buraidah case was only diagnosed after her death, of if there was simply a delay in reporting it.
