After a very active first half of June, when more than 50 (mostly hospital acquired) cases were reported in Riyadh (see WHO EMRO MERS-CoV Update - June 2017), MERS reporting out of KSA for the past 6 weeks has been fragmented, sometimes delayed, and unusually quiet.
Today, however, the MOH is reporting 3 new primary MERS cases, scattered across the Kingdom, two of which are already listed in critical condition.
With the start of this year's Hajj just 4 weeks away, we'll be watching carefully for any uptick in MERS cases.
