While the month of July was a relatively quiet one for MERS in Saudi Arabia (see WHO EMRO MERS-CoV Update - July 2017), KSA has already exceeded last month's total during the first 6 days of August.
Today's MOH report contains 1 asymptomatic secondary HCW (F, 25) acquired case from Dawmat Alganda - presumably exposed to the 51 y.o. male reported there last week - and a fatal case (M,38) primary case in Najran, very near the Yemen border.
