Referral: Effect Measure On Pneumococcal Vaccines

Yesterday I blogged on the CDC’s Interim recommendations on what risk groups should get the Pneumococcal Vaccine.  In that blog I recommended:

 

Even if you aren’t sure if you fall into one of the risk groups, you may wish to discuss this option with your family physician. 

 

Today, the Revere’s at Effect Measure, who are public health officials, go a bit farther.  

 

They not only provide an excellent in depth overview of the the vaccine, and the bacterial pathogens it protects against, they come out strongly in favor of just about everyone getting the vaccine.
