The steady trickle of MERS reports continues to come out of Saudi Arabia, with two new cases announced from Riyadh (1 fatal), along with the announcement of a the death of a previously announced case from Taif.
The surviving case in Riyadh is reported to be a healthcare worker.
After a relatively quiet summer, since the first week of September we’ve seen 35 MERS cases announced out of Saudi Arabia, with the most cases coming from the Taif region.
