Egypt Hospitalizes Additional Suspects

# 935

Two siblings of Emad Mohamed Al Daramalli, the 4-year old  that has tested positive for the H5N1 virus, are now hospitalized and being tested for the virus according to local media reports.  They, along with two others have been detained at the Qina Fevers hospital with symptoms similar to `bird flu'.

Testing must be conducted before we can know if any of these suspect cases are, indeed, H5N1 related.   The siblings of the 37th victim are notable, in that it would constitute a cluster if they test positive.

Again, we must wait for results.

A double hat tip to Pugmom and Theresa42 of the Wiki, whose combined efforts at finding, and translating articles from the Arab press, have brought this information to light.

As always, translated text is a bit difficult to read.  Caveat Lector.
