Blog: Thai Anxiety

# 2509

Many of my readers also are following the terrorist attacks in Mumbai and the recent political upheaval in Thailand.

We live in an interconnected world, and these events have an impact around the globe.  Additionally, they are occurring in hot-zone countries and could have some bearing on how these countries are able to deal with emerging infectious diseases.

As some of you know, my twin brother is an entertainer, who now lives in Thailand.  Jim used to live in New Orleans, but Hurricane Katrina ended his 22 year stint in the French Quarter.

Jim, also a former ALS paramedic, writes about his life in Thailand, and life `on the road' in places like Mumbai, India in his blog -

Have Banjo, Will Travel

Jim has just posted on the situation in Thailand in a post called Thai Anxiety (yes, he loves the pun as much as I do).

His blog is not only a `fun' read, it is informative as well.

If you are interested in a `boots-on-the-ground' perspective of what is going on in Thailand, give it a try.
