A report with almost no details, although I expect we’ll hear more in the coming hours and days. A four-year-old girl from the Nile Delta province of Daqahlia has died from the H5N1 bird flu virus.
This makes the 21st case of 2009, and the 4th fatality out of Egypt. Other countries, particularly Indonesia, may be seeing an equally active year but are not reporting cases.
