The editors over at Effect Measure are public health scientists and practitioners who write under a collective pseudonym: Revere.

 

The Reveres are consistently one of the best sources on the net for explaining the science behind virology and epidemiology.   Most of what I know about those subjects, I’ve gleaned from reading their blog.

 

Today they weigh in on the the Swine Flu virus, and the relief that the media and the public appear to be sharing over its current lack of virulence.
