Referral: Crofsblog On Second Wave In Mexico

# 3545

Crof over at Crofsblog does a phenomenal job of covering pandemic influenza news, and if you aren’t hitting his site several times each day, you are missing out on one of the best sources in Flublogia.

In addition to having a nose for news, Crof is also fluent in Spanish, since he spent a good deal of his youth in Mexico.   That makes him one of the best sources to go to for translations of Latin and South American News reports.

Today Crof is hot on the trail of reports that there’s been a resurgence of flu cases in Mexico, including a number of new deaths.   His reports so far today on the situation include:

Mexico: A second wave of H1N1
More on the new Mexican outbreak
Mexico: More details

A second wave in mid to late July in Mexico is a bit of a surprise, given the inhospitable temperatures there.  This would seem to be another good indication of just how well this virus transmits, and now immunologically naive the population is to this virus.
