Branswell On The Transmissibility Of The H3N2v Virus

Helen Branswell has the details this evening on a study just published in  PNAS that looks at the transmissibility of the Swine H3N2v virus, that was detected among a dozen people across five states during the second half of 2011.

 

Although this virus has yet to take off in the human population, researchers believe it has at least some potential to spread.
