The Saudi MOH is reporting a single MERS case today, that of a 58 y.o. Male, in stable condition and being treated at home, with `animal’ exposure.
The uptick in MERS Cases, which began in early September, continues with 16 cases reported thus far in November. While animal (primarily camel) exposure has been cited as a pathway for the virus to enter the human population, we’ve seen a good deal of (primarily) nosocomial spread of the virus as well, prompting the following recent MOH statements:
