While the focus of our attentions have been on the large MERS outbreak at King Khalid University Hospital in Riyadh, over the past week we've also see scattered MERS cases reported in Najran, Taif, Medinah, and Al-Kharj.
Today Riyadh's outbreak takes a breather, and instead we learn of a household cluster in Jeddah.While most of the MERS activity during Ramadan has been far removed from the Holy city of Mecca where tens of thousands are performing Umrah this month, yesterday a case was reported in Taif - 60 miles west of Mecca - and today's cluster is but 40 miles east of Mecca.
