Two weeks ago the Saudi MOH reported a single primary MERS case out of Jeddah - that of a 55 y.o. male from Bangladesh. The source of his exposure wasn't listed.
Today, the MOH is reporting another case from Jeddah - an 80 y.o. female - listed as a household contact of a known case.
We haven't been informed of any other recent cases in Jeddah, and so it seems probable that these two are epidemiologically linked, but we'll have to wait for a WHO report to know for sure.
The MOH also reports 4 recoveries from the Riyadh cluster, and one death in Hofuf.
