While specifics are in short supply, we now learn that multiple additional outbreaks have been reported in Liaoning province, in and around Yingkou City.

The Information Office of the Ministry of Agriculture and Rural Affairs was released on October 8th. The Dashiqiao City and the Old Border Area of ​​Yingkou City, Liaoning Province, once again detected the epidemic situation of pigs in Africa.

At 19:00 on October 7, the Ministry of Agriculture and Rural Affairs received a report from the China Animal Disease Prevention and Control Center, and was tested by the China Center for Animal Health and Epidemiology (National Institute of Animal Diseases and Diseases), and the inspection samples were sent out in Yingkou City, Liaoning Province. African swine fever virus, diagnosed as a pig swine fever in Africa. 


It involves Gejia Village in Gaokan Town, Dashiqiao City, Sudong Village in Qikou Town, Wangwei Village, Xinxing Village, Xinli Village, Lunan Town, Laobian District, and Yangcun Village in Biancheng Town. The farmer coexisted 3,358 live pigs. Head, 93 deaths.

After the outbreak was detected, the Ministry of Agriculture and Rural Affairs immediately dispatched a steering group to the local area. The local government has started the emergency response mechanism as required, and adopted measures such as blockade, culling, harmless treatment, disinfection, etc., to treat all the sick and culled pigs harmlessly. At the same time, all live pigs and susceptible animals and products are prohibited from entering or leaving the blockade. At present, the above epidemic has been effectively disposed of.
