Following yesterday's announcement of 3 new African Swine Fever outbreaks in Liaoning Province - including 1 outbreak in Jinzhou City at a farm with nearly 20,000 pigs - we have 3 more outbreaks reported again today.
Unlike many of the previously reported outbreaks in China - which have occurred mostly in small holdings or farms with only a few hundred animals - all three of today's farms have several thousand live pigs on their premises.

After an initial flurry of reports from seven other provinces, since the end of September all but one outbreak has been reported by Liaoning Province.
