Wadi Aldwasir was the site of a large community & Healthcare acquired outbreak (60+ cases & 8 deaths) last spring (see WHO Update & Saudi Epidemiological Investigation Of The Wadi Aldwasir MERS Cluster).
While that outbreak has been over for months, we've seen sporadic cases reported from the region since then, including 3 `primary' cases reported in October (Epi Week 44, Epi Week 42, and Epi Week 40).
Today, in the first report for Epi week 45, we have word of a `secondary' case from Wadi Aladwasir, indicating a cluster.  The barebones reporting by the MOH doesn't tell us whether this is a Healthcare Worker, or which previous case she was exposed to.

Given last spring's outbreak in Wadi Aldwasir, combined with the recent uptick in MERS cases in KSA, we'll be watching this carefully.
