After a nearly 2-hour delay, the WHO opened their press conference on today's meeting of the Emergency IHR Committee, and announced that the committee is divided on whether to declare a PHEIC (Public Health Emergency of International Concern).
Due to the rapidly evolving situation on the ground in China, the committee will meet again tomorrow for further deliberations.
