#14,946

Although we information we get out of Iran is sketchy, and anecdotal (and unconfirmed) reports paint an even worse picture, the Iranian MOH today is reporting a total of 95 confirmed COVID-19 Cases and 15 deaths.
Once again, their mortality rate continues to be elevated compared to what we've seen reported in other countries, but hopefully that is due to limited and selective testing of only the most severely ill patients.
Meanwhile, exported cases of COVID-19 among travelers from Iran continue to show up in other countries, suggesting the virus is truly out of control.  Yesterday, Oman reported two cases from Iran, joining Canada, Lebanon, Bahrain, and Kuwait in detecting imported cases.
