NHC Reports 3694 New Coronavirus Cases Over Past 24 Hours

#14,810

China's National Health Commission has updated their numbers for the past 24 hours, adding 3694 new cases, 73 new deaths, and a record 261 cases were reportedly cured and discharged.
While these numbers may not fully reflect the situation on the ground in China, one bright is that over the past few reports we are finally seeing considerably more recoveries reported than deaths.
Nevertheless, China's total official case count (n=28018) is now more than 3 times the total number of SARS cases reported globally in 2002-2003, and the epidemic shows no signs of slowing.
