Japan MOH: 33 New COVID-19 Cases - 7th Fatality

While Japan has reported the kind of volume of COVID-19 cases as we've seen in South Korea, Italy, Iran, and a growing host of European nations - in recent days they have seen a noticeable spike in cases.
Over the past 5 days Japan has reported 204 new cases, with 33 of those coming from today's report. 
Earlier today we also learned of Japan's 7th domestic fatality (excluding those from the Diamond Princesses), involving a man in his 80s who lived in Nagoya. According to the report, he was transported to emergency services yesterday, and subsequently died. 

Although this patient was only identified as having COVID-19 post-mortem, he supposedly had previous contact with a known case.

Outbreak of new coronavirus-related patients (409-438 cases)
Today (March 8), from Hokkaido, Kochi, Hyogo, Saitama, Aichi, and Osaka prefectures, 30 patients with this new type of coronavirus-related infectious disease and 3 asymptomatic pathogen carriers We have reported as follows. 
With this announcement, there will be 487 domestically infected people (438 patients, 49 asymptomatic pathogen carriers). In addition to this, one patient has been confirmed in airport quarantine so far, bringing the total to 488.
