As telegraphed in yesterday's conference call, the CDC has uploaded a number of new and/or updated Guidance Documents for dealing with avian influenza. (Note: I'm currently having difficulty with some of the embedded links (their servers may be overloaded by downloaders), so I've not had an opportunity to review them in their entirety).
Since these are lengthy and highly detailed documents they would be impossible to synopsize here, anyway. So I'll simply provide links for you to explore.
The first two are geared primarily to employees and employers who may be exposed occupationally to the virus, while the third is geared to the public, public health investigators and clinicians.
There is obviously a lot of very useful information here, but how much of it will deemed reasonable or cost effective - or will resonate with employers, employees, and the general public - remains to be seen.
