Saudi MOH Announces 1 MERS Case In Al Kharj

After a three day respite in cases, the Saudi MOH today has announced a new, already fatal case of MERS in Al Kharj; a 74 year old Saudi male whose case is listed as `under investigation'.   No other details are available.

Without onset dates, we don't know if this posthumous announcement is due to delayed discovery or delayed reporting.

During the middle of March we saw three cases from Al-Kharj, all listed as having primary camel contact . In February Al-Kharj was the site of several primary MERS cases linked to camel exposure, along with secondary cases.

Today's report also lists 5 recoveries from hard-hit Buraidah, and 1 from Jazran.
