Running through the 27th of June, the National Pandemic Flu Leadership blog is now entering it's 3rd week. We've seen dozens of blogs, and hundreds of comments by concerned, and well informed citizens.
This week, the subject will be Getting the Job Done: What do I need to succeed in communicating the importance of preparing for a pandemic?
If you've not visited the HHS blog site, you really should. And we'd really appreciate your input. We need as many ideas as we can get.
In many ways, this is turning out to be a remarkable experiment in government-public communication. It hasn't always gone smoothly, as there were problems the first week with comments being filtered out by the spam filter, but the moderators seem to have fixed that problem. The comments have been direct, and sometimes spirited, but always thoughtful.
This first excursion into sponsoring blogging on pandemic flu by the HHS is definitely worth your time each day to review.
