An American Blogging From India

# 1548

Having someone on the ground, blogging in English, from a hotzone country is always a welcome find.  As we found with Zeinobia blogging from Egypt, a local perspective is always valuable.

Today we learn of a blog from India. My thanks to Siam, who posted this link on Flutrackers, of an American grandmother in India who is writing about, among other things, the bird flu situation there.

Globalgramma, the author of this blog, is on a 5 month odyssey of self discovery on the Indian Subcontinent.   She writes that state incompetence and corruption are both proving major obstacles to controlling the outbreak.
