A couple of days ago I mentioned that Dr. Ian M. Mackay from the University of Queensland in Australia had contacted me with a for the link to his blog – Virology Down Under - where he is maintaining a very helpful timeline, along with background information, on the H7N9 cases reported out of China (link).
He’s moved his H7N9 information to a separate page, while maintaining a news roll on the home page of his blog.
Based on this chart, it appears that a significant number of onset of illness dates cluster around the 18th of March, a data point that might prove useful in determining their route of infection.
While there may come a point in time where it becomes impossible to keep track of these cases, for now Ian’s chart gives us a good idea of the clustering – in time – of these H7N9 cases.
I’ve updated these links in my side panel.
