Saudi MOH Announces Three New Cases Of MERS-CoV

After a lull in reports from the Saudi MOH of more than a week, today their Arabic language portal carries a (very) brief announcement regarding three cases in Riyadh. 

 

As we’ve seen in the past - other than their ages, a generic history of `chronic disease and/or health problems’, and their current  placement in Intensive care – the MOH has provided very little else in the way of useful information.

Onset dates, possible exposures, date of lab confirmation, etc. would all be useful and yet not violate patient confidentiality.
