Saudi MOH Announces 3 Additional MERS Cases

After a relatively quiet July, MERS activity has started to pick up again in Saudi Arabia, with 3 more cases announced today. Two are household contacts of the Dawmat Alganda cluster which began last week. Both are teenagers, one of whom is listed as asymptomatic while the other is in stable condition.
The third case is a primary (indirect camel contact) case from Hayel, listed in critical condition.
Since August 1st Saudi Arabia has reported 9 new MERS cases, including 1 secondary HCW, and 3 household contacts.
