Macao Shutting Down Non-Essential Services, Closing Casinos, Theatres & Bars

Despite having reported only 10 imported cases, Macao is increasingly acting like a city under siege, releasing more than two dozens statements over the past 12 hours on the shutting down, or limiting, of non-essential services.
Perhaps the biggest economic impact comes from the closing of all 20 of Macao's casinos, which reportedly provide roughly 70% of the Macanese government’s income (cite).

The Secretary for Economic Affairs and Finance, Li Weinong, said that in view of the development of the epidemic, the government decided to suspend the operation of 41 casinos, cinemas, theatres, bars, Internet cafes, discos and dance halls in Australia (Macao) from 00:00 on February 5 after evaluation Open for 15 days.
