A little over 72 hours ago South Korea had reported only a total of 31 COVID-19 cases, but over the past 3 days we've seen a 10-fold increase after a cluster - associated with the Shincheon Daegu Church - began to emerge.
The 9am (KST) CDC update adds 142 additional cases, bringing the total to 346 cases, and according to the chart below, 91 of those cases are linked to the Qingdao Daenam Hospital in Cheongdo.
South Korea also reports their 2nd COVID-19 fatality. There are no details provided beyond the chart below.  The next update will come out at 1600 hrs (KST).
