Japan: MOH Announces 33 New Domestic COVID-19 Cases

While Japan hasn't seen the skyrocketing case counts that South Korea, Italy, and Iran have reported, their daily numbers continue to rise, and today's addition of 33 cases (30 patients, 3 asymptomatic) is the largest 1-day jump we've seen.

Outbreaks of patients related to the novel coronavirus (258-287 cases)

Today (March 4), the new coronavirus-related infection from Yamaguchi, Kochi, Ehime, Miyazaki, Hokkaido, Tokyo, Chiba, Aichi, Kyoto, Osaka and Kumamoto prefectures We report 30 patients with symptom and 3 asymptomatic pathogen carriers as follows.

With this announcement, there will be 317 domestic infections (287 patients, 30 asymptomatic pathogen carriers).
