COCA Call Today - Clinician Information On Pfizer-BioNTech and Moderna COVID-19 Vaccines

#15,631

Later today (2 pm Est) the CDC will hold  a highly anticipated COCA call for clinicians on the two COVID vaccines that have recently received an EUA (Emergency Use Authorization) in the United States.  Due to the expected high demand, the CDC will be simulcasting on U.S. Stream TV

These presentations are often highly technical, and are of greatest interest to clinicians and healthcare providers, but also may be of interest to others.

For those who missed it, Monday's COCA Call What Every Clinician Should Know about COVID-19 Vaccine Safety, is available to watch online.

What Clinicians Need to Know About the Pfizer-BioNTech and Moderna COVID-19 Vaccines

Overview

This COCA Call will give clinicians an overview of the Pfizer-BioNTech and Moderna COVID-19 vaccines. Clinicians will learn about vaccine characteristics and administration, vaccinating special populations, and contraindications. They will also get answers to a number of clinical questions CDC has received about these new vaccines.
