Around 2am (EST) the OC Health Care Agency (HCA) sent out the following tweet announcing the nations 3rd confirmed novel coronavirus (nCoV2019) case.
This follows confirmation of cases in Washington State and in Chicago.
Given the apparent transmissibility of this novel virus, its relatively long incubation period, and the immense amount of international travelers coming into the United States, we can reasonably assume this won't be the last one we'll see in the days ahead (see The Limitations Of Airport Screening For Novel Coronavirus Cases).
