Iranian MOH: 106 Additional COVID-19 Cases (n=245) - 7 New Deaths (n=26)

Although modeling suggests there are likely tens of thousands of cases in Iran, the ability of the MOH to test and identify cases remains limited, and the confirmed numbers we get badly under-represent what is going on inside their borders. 
Over the past week we've seen scores of travelers from Iran identified in Bahrain, Kuwait, Lebanon, Canada, and elsewhere who have tested positive for the virus, suggesting widespread circulation of COVID-19. 
This morning, the Iranian MOH posted the following update, adding 106 new cases and 7 additional deaths. 
The Director of the Public Relations and Information Centre in the Ministry of Health announced:
106 new COID19 patients identified in Iran
The Director of the Public Relations and Information Centre in the Ministry of Health said: From noon yesterday until noon today, 106 new cases with 19 covids have been diagnosed in the country, bringing the total number of infected patients to 245.
In an interview with Webb's correspondent, Dr. Kianoosh Jahanpour stated: The increase in the number of positive cases of coveide 19 is due to the increase in the number of laboratories in the country. During the past 24 hours, seven of the infected patients died and the number of deaths in the country increased to 26.
He added: Out of 106 new patients with Kuid19, 38 individuals related to Tehran, 23 individuals related to Gilan, 7 individuals related to Qom, 8 individuals related to Esfahan, 7 individuals related to Mazandaran, 5 individuals related to Ardebil, 3 individuals related to Semnan, 3 individuals related to Lorestan, 2 individuals are related to East Azerbaijan, One person, The Khorasan- Razavi one of the people related to Kurdistan, one was from Yazd and one was from West Azerbaijan.
Ministry of Health spokesperson stressed that: The decisions of the National Committee for the Management and Management of the Coronavirus, which was held last night in the Ministry of Health, were submitted to the President for ratification and notification and continued with our greatest emphasis on urban and interurban travel restrictions.
