Overnight British Columbia announced their sixth COVID-19 case in a woman recently returned from Iran.  The woman, in her 30s, appears to be only mildly ill and is reportedly self-isolating at home.
It was just 48 hours ago that Iran announced their 1st Two Preliminarily Positive COVID-19 Cases  - both later announced as fatal - and 24 hours ago Iran announced 3 More COVID-19 Cases
Since then, we've seen considerable chatter on Arabic social media suggesting more cases, but the official stance is only 5 cases have been confirmed. Iran's state media IRNA (Islamic Republic News Agency)  is reporting 5 others are hospitalized, but states:
However, Saeed Nemaki, the Minister of Health and Medical Education , told reporters after the Coronation Prevention and Counterterrorism Summit that was held in the Ministry of Health in the presence of First Vice-President Isaac Jahangiri , five reporters said that there were five people with definite cases of coronavirus in Iran. That includes 2 feet, 3 patients hospitalized in Qom and one physician who has moved from Arak to Qom.
He also said that about five others were suspected of having Corona hospitalized after the results of the test were announced to the public, but the Ministry of Health predicted that most of them would not be infected with the Corona virus.
The Minister of Health added: "The statistics that some say about the number of people with coronary heart disease and deaths are false and the Ministry of Health is honestly reporting every case; not every coronary respiratory disease because we are still in winter Influenza B is not over.
The fact that an exported case from Iran has already been picked up in British Columbia suggests that the virus has been circulating in Iran far longer, and is already better established, than Iranian officials are currently admitting.

Adrian Dix, Minister of Health, and Dr. Bonnie Henry, B.C.'s provincial health officer, have issued the following joint statement regarding updates on the novel coronavirus (COVID-19) in British Columbia:
“Today, we are announcing a new case of COVID-19 in British Columbia. A woman in her 30s is presumed positive based on local testing, and samples have been sent to the National Microbiology Laboratory (NML) in Winnipeg, Man., for final confirmation. She resides in the Fraser Health region and recently returned from Iran.
“Fraser Health is actively investigating. The patient’s close contacts will be identified and contacted by public-health officials. The patient is in isolation at home.
“This brings the total number of cases in B.C. to six. One is presumed positive, with four confirmed positive by the NML. They remain in self-isolation and under care by public-health teams. The first case has recovered, as indicated by the resolution of symptoms, followed by two successive negative test results 24 hours apart.
“The risk of this virus spreading within British Columbia remains low at this time. We are closely monitoring the situation in Canada and abroad. We will notify the public if the measures in B.C. change.
“We continue to recommend that everyone take the same important measures to help protect from respiratory illnesses at this time of year."
